A creature dead for several days
At over 32 feet long, thisunidentified creaturewhich had apparently beendead for several days floated on the surface of the water in a state of very advanced decomposition. ‘This is the first time I have seen such a creature,’ Nujnuj Capistrano, an island resident who photographed the scene, told the Sun:

Also intrigued by theimposing carcass, experts have not yet managed to agree amongst themselves as to which species this marine creature belongs. Only the scientist Julius Alpino risked saying that he thought it was a whale. But for the moment it remains a mystery.
