Florida man viciously attacks McDonald’s employee over… a straw?

A video has gone viral following a shocking dispute between a raging customer and a McDonald's employee in St. Petersburg, Florida, followed by a manic attack on the worker. According to sources, the out-of-control incident was sparked because the man didn't get a straw following a newly-introduced law in order to reduce the use of plastic straws.

In the footage taken by onlooker Kinie Biandudihe, 40-year-old Daniel Taylor can be seen grabbing aspiring student, Yasmine James by the collar before yanking her across the counter. Thanks to experience in boxing, Yasmine manages to retaliate by resisting his force, throwing punch after punch in defence to the bizarre attack before fellow employee members interfered. Speaking about the incident, a witness commented:
More under this adMore under this adHe was yelling and walking toward the counter and the young lady behind the counter told him that it’s the law now that we’re not allowed to have straws in the lobby. They started exchanging words laced with profanity and he said there’s no such law that exists and she was saying yes it is a law.
Since then, the homeless perpetrator had been arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery, whilst Ms James remained an employee at the fast-food restaurant. The man had also been instructed to stay well away from Ms James as well as her workplace.
