This rule was overlooked by Kathryn Kidd, who continued to rent her house on Airbnb. After being reported by her neighbors, the American woman had to pay a $4,000 fine. Instead of entering into a nasty neighbor dispute, Kathryn Kidd chose to respond in an unusual way.
