One impatient customer received the wrong order, prompting her to start a fight with the McDonald’s manager. The fight ended in a broken nose, black eye, and injured cheekbone.

Britany Price walked into McDonald’s and ordered Happy Meals for her kiddos. Unfortunately, the staff messed up her order, so she had to wait around to get what she wanted. The surveillance videos show her refilling drinks and meandering about. You can tell she’s getting restless.

Price couldn’t stand the wait any longer, prompting her to chuck the burgers from the Happy Meals and juice at the manager, Nashawnda Johnson. The manager, wanting to defend herself, grabbed the first thing in sight: a blender.

'I just picked up anything'

Johnson recounted the situation:

So every action has a reaction. So while I'm getting assaulted, I just picked up anything that was right there and just threw it [the blender] back at her.

Before the encounter, Johnson had worked at McDonald’s for a decade! But naturally, throwing a blender at someone and severely injuring their face tends to result in getting fired.

The manager (er, former manager) claims:

I never had no incident like this. Never, because I've always been able to diffuse the situation to whatever it is. Their food is wrong, we cheated them out of money, or -- always, it never got to this point.
