Ask for a burger with one less ingredient (a pickle for example). The price won't go down, but the employee will have to make a burger on the spot (and therefore fresher) because you asked for one less ingredient! It also works with fries: if you ask for fries without salt, you will get nice hot fries!

And now for some savings... first of all, avoid the new burgers, often twice as expensive as the traditional ones! A double cheeseburger won't cost you much. You can also order a Happy Meal by asking to remove the toy, which will reduce its already low price!
According to Adnan, it works especially well if you visit the restaurant during peak hours. "Basically between 12-2 and 5pm-7pm workers have to be extra careful because that is when gapbusters (mystery shoppers), who are paid, visit McDonald's restaurants and rate their experience.
