Personal Letters Between Trump And Kim Jong Un Revealed In New Book

In an interview with journalist Bob Woodward for his upcoming biography Rage, Donald Trump boasts that Kim Jong Un ‘tells me everything’. This reportedly includes a ‘graphic’ description of how Kim had his uncle General Jang Song-Thaek executed by firing squad before stripping his body and feeding it to dogs and putting his head on display.

Trump first met with Kim Jong Un in June 2018, in what was the first-ever meeting between leaders of the United States of America and North Korea. The President was criticised by many for legitimising the North Korean leader with this meeting. Trump defended his actions, saying ‘It takes me two days. I met. I gave up nothing.’
More under this adMore under this adAccording to publisher Simon & Schuster, Rage, which is due to be published next week on September 15th, will divulge the contents of ‘25 personal letters exchanged between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who describes the bond between the two leaders as out of a “fantasy film¨’.
In one letter, Kim wrote to Trump

Whilst Trump reportedly refused to share all of the letters that he had written to Kim Jong Un in response, he described the dictator as ‘far beyond smart’. In one letter he did show to Bob Woodward, Trump wrote: 'Do you ever do anything other than send rockets up to the air? Let's go to a movie together. Let's go play a round of golf.'
