The young rapper, 6ix9ine has been pretty active on social media since his release from prison and has been making headlines for ranting about people calling him a 'rant' to having to relocate to a new safe house after his address was leaked.

Now in what might seem like very unusual news, the rapper had a very charitable donation, amounting to the sum of $200,000 denied by a New York non-profit organization.

Following the release of his new single "GOOBA" and accompanying merch line, it's reported that 6ix9ine whose real name is Daniel Hernandez made an estimated $2 million in the first week.

With a pocket full of cash and a newfound appreciation for freedom 6ix9ine must have been feeling particularly generous when he announced on social media (in a now-deleted post) that he planned to donate $200,000 to the charity No Kid Hungry whos priority is to end child poverty.

In a statement to Complex a representative of the charity organization, Laura Washburn, stated:

We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation, as a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.

It would seem as though No Kid Hungry subscribes to the notion that not all money ain't good money, and when values don't align they would rather not be associated with certain donors. Hernandez seemed to take offence to this and spoke out on Instagram:

@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel.

While we can understand that a charity wouldn't want to be associated with certain donors for a multitude of reasons, we do hope that somehow, someway, kids in need will be able to receive the benefits from 6ix9ine's current feelings of generosity.
