When Jessie Lipskin stumbled across a 1966 GMC bus on eBay she just knew she had to buy it. The bus wasn't in great condition but it became Jessie's project over the course of the next three years. Today, it's a stunning mobile home.

Jessie was initially inspired by her desire to live a sustainable lifestyle where she could remain on the move, constantly discovering new places.
More under this adMore under this adWhilst Jessie is a DIY fan, she didn't have the plumbing or electrical expertise to complete the conversion of the van herself and relied on professionals to help out with these jobs. She says that the fact her home was mobile made everything take a lot longer:
'I constantly had to account for movement, on top of that the angles of the bus and slanted style windows made it challenging to design the best possible layout and curved woodworking. Levels were useless as the bus incline changes depending on location, it was all about calculating angles. This added a lot of time onto the project.'
