Terrifying Moment a Toddler Faced Death Walking on the Ledge of a Building

These unconscious parents have learned the hard way that they have to keep two eyes on their daughter every second of every minute during the day! The unnamed little climber made her parents' blood run cold when she decided to walk on very smell balcony ledge while her mother was in the shower.

The scene takes place in Tenerife, Spain's Canary Islands. In the footage, we can see the toddler scaling outside of a block of flats. Neighbours have filmed the horrifying moment the child jumps over what appears to be her bedroom window on the 5th floor of an apartment building. And starts to go back and forth to the balcony on the other side of the flat at Playa Paraíso, in Adeje.

The video takes a petrifying turn when in a heart-stopping moment, the child almost loses balance, on her way back to her room, the toddler slipt and almost fell from FIVE floors up. The footage ends at this particular moment. According to their neighbours, however, the child is safe:

One neighbour said they were surprised ‘something worse has not happened’ while another said ‘luckily no wind was blowing’.

It is thought the child’s family were holiday goers from Finland but it is not known if they have since flown home. This clip was shared on 'I Love Tenerife' Facebook page with the Caption:

'OMG! This toddler managed to climb out of this building window whilst the parents were taking a shower. This apparently happened over the weekend at a property in Playa Paraiso, Tenerife!'
