This Hotel In Switzerland Became Totally Trapped Under The Snow
More under this adOn Thursday, January 10th at 4:30 in the afternoon, an avalanche fell on the ski resort of Schwägalp, located in the Säntis massif in Switzerland. A video taken of the hotel after the snowfall shows the extent of the damage.
This hotel in the Schwägalp ski resort was completely besieged following the avalanche that hit the Säntis mountains on Thursday, January 10th. The snowfall buried the car park and several cars and invaded the ground floor of the hotel Säntis’ restaurant.

On the night of Thursday to Friday, 75 people were evacuated from the station for security, as well as a holiday home, located nearby. Fortunately, the police have received no reports of missing persons in this area which is 4300 feet above sea level. However, three individuals suffered minor injuries.
