Popeyes, one of America's biggest multi-national fast-food chains to serve fried chicken is celebrating the grand opening of its 3000th store worldwide. And what could be a better opportunity than this to add a new item to the menu? Some would even call it a delicacy.

Indeed, you can now purchase southern-fried chicken hand-battered in champagne and finished with 24-karat gold dusting at select stores in the US. Whilst the 24-karat champagne wings are only served at 4 restaurants, the company says that they're looking to bring the 6-piece bucket meal to more locations nationwide.

The best part is that it's not as expensive as it sounds!
