If you live in a populated city, you may know all too well, the nightmare that is finding a parking spot. It can often be so tough that people stop paying attention to where they're actually leaving their cars.

While finding the parking spot can often be frustrating, what's more frustrating, is when someone else ignorantly parks in a way that stops you from being able to move your own car. Whether it's in a crowded parking lot or even sometimes in front of your own driveway.

This is what happens, on an almost daily basis, to Tobe Bailey, 49 and his family from Margate, Kent. Recently, after a neighbours car blocked in his daughters from being able to move for almost two days, he decided to take matters into his own hands.

Tobe has invested almost £2000 in installing a dropped curve as well signage in order to indicate that the space in front of his driveway is a no-parking zone. However, as he explains, "people still do it all the time".

He stated, "I live in a street with 26 houses and 24 parking spaces" and that he and his family would find "some idiot blocking us in, at least two or three times a week".

Tobe continued to explain the situation that led him to take matters into his own hands. "I came home from work one night and saw the car parked there. My daughter couldn't get her car out. I wrote a note and stuck it on the windscreen, telling the owner to move it."

So what did he do? He decided to wrap the entire car up in black cellophane in order to drive a point home to those he decided to park in front of his driveway.

"I'd just had a load of pallet wrap delivered and I thought, 'right' and wrapped it across the car. The owner soon came out after that. It was a young girl who had just moved in next door but one."

Luckily, his new neighbour took the stunt in stride and agreed that she would not block his space again. Tobe stated:

"She was very apologetic, she said 'very funny' and said she won't park there again."
