Nikolas Cruz, the boy responsible for the shooting that left 17 people dead at a high school in Parkland, Florida on 14th February 2018, recorded himself in many terrifying videos before he committed his hate crime.

“Hello, my name is Nick and I’m gonna be the next school shooter of 2018. It’s gonna be a big event. And when you see me on the news, you’ll all know who I am.” These are the words used by the Parkland Shooter in one of the videos. On 14th February 2018, Nikolas Cruz, 19 years old, terrorized his old high school in Florida, killing 17 people in the process. Before he stormed the school, he recorded many videos with his mobile phone, which were then made public by the Prosecutor’s Office of The American State of Florida on 30th May.

Also in the recordings and perhaps more chilling, “You’re all going to die. Pew pew pew. I can’t wait. My goal is at least 20 people with an AR-15 and a couple of tracer rounds.” He explains before adding, “Today is the day, the day that it all begins. The day my massacre shall begin. All the kids in the school will run in fear and hide. From the wrath of my power, they will know who I am.” Clearly very disturbed, the young man also showed us his pain, which seemed to be the motivation behind his plan, “I am nothing, I am no one, my life is nothing and meaningless,” he said before explaining how he was called an “idiot and a dumba**.” Following his conviction, prosecutors plan to ask for the death penalty.
