Comedian Chris D'Elia Is Under Fire As He Is Accused Of Harassing Underaged Girls

This could seem to some like an elaborate hoax given the fact that Chris D'Elia has been cast as a paedophile multiple times for TV and film over the past decade, including most recently for Netflix's popular series You (season 2) where he played Henderson, a comedian/paedophile. Talk about irony...

Yesterday, Twitter exploded after a post was made by user @girlpowertbh which started a thread of inquiries and responses regarding incidents with the comedian where he allegedly assaulted minors via direct messages and emails.

The irony she was referring to in her original Tweet was about an incident that occurred in 2014 when she was just 16 years old. In the thread on Twitter, she shares screenshots of emails between herself and who appears to be Chris D'Elia. In the screenshots, it's shown that he asks to see pictures of her to which she replies by sending him a picture of a panda bear.

D'Elia responds with laughter but simultaneously called her a 'Dick' as it's obvious that he wanted her to send pictures of herself. The young woman named Simone goes on to share more incriminating screenshots between D'Elia and herself where he asks her to 'hang' and 'make out' while he was in Tempe, Arizona.

This was corroborated by a Tweet Delia at put out himself stating that he was in Tempe around the exact time Simone was receiving the emails.

Simone continued on the thread to share her reasoning for sharing making the post, clearly wanting to speak out about the issue regarding older famous men and young women. She stated:

for the longest time i thought it was embarrassing for ME that i was interacting with this older man but he was the one who DM’d me on twitter and was the one who was twice my age and was the one that used the power imbalance between us to his advantage so f*ck chris d’elia

This thread saw an influx of other Tweets of young women sharing similar stories about the famous comedian.

These Tweets also inspired other users to share anonymous accounts of women opening up about interactions between themselves and D'Elia:

The story is still developing and Chris D'Elia still has yet to make a statement regarding the allegations, however, given the sheer volume of young women who have the evidence and are beginning to speak out about the comedian, it's hard to imagine he'll be able to dig himself out of this one.
