Cristiano Ronaldo has played his country’s last two games but will sadly be bumped from the team, at least for now, while he undergoes isolation.

So far, the Juventus forward has played with Portugal against Spain last Wednesday and again against France in the Nations League on Sunday. Both games finished without a single goal and now Ronaldo is out of the match for Portugal’s game against Sweden on the 14th of October.

The star player will now have to spend some time in self-isolation before he is able to rejoin the Juventus squad for the rest of the season.
Just last night Ronaldo uploaded a selfie to social media of himself and the team all sporting huge grins. After Sunday’s match, he was also spotted hugging France players Kylian Mbappe and Raphael Varane.

Following the positive case, the remaining players underwent new tests this Tuesday morning, all with a negative result, and are available to Fernando Santos for training this afternoon, in Cidade do Futebol.
