A Very Dark Live Action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Series Is Coming Soon To Netflix
One of the fathers of the Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastman, talked about what's in store for his creatures at San Diego's Comic-Con. We know that the 4 brothers will soon be coming back in a very dark Netflix series inspired from Daredevil, in live action.
It is with great pleasure that we welcomed the news shared by Kevin Eastman, co-creator of the Ninja Turtles, at Comic-Con San Diego. The Ninja Turtles are reappearing in a Netflix series that the creator made sure was true to the original comics. Understand that the tone will be much darker than the one used in the cartoons we used to watch as kids.

In fact, Kevin Eastman stated that the inspiration behind his serial adaptation of the cartoons was Daredevil - the TV show -, which was very well received by fans. Moreover, he explains that Daredevil was the inspiration behind the creation of the Ninja Turtles, 35 years ago. Given that Netflix has dropped Daredevil, the Ninja Turtles could take over and embody this darker side of superheroes.
