With the release of the Black Widow film, will the Marvel Cinematic Universe be turning to a new darker genre, banning their films for those under the age of 17 in the United States?

Black Widow, due to be released in 2020, will be the second solo film in the Marvel film universe to focus on a female character. In addition, according to rumours launched by the Crazy Days & Nights website and taken up by various specialised sites, Black Widow could be classified as ‘R-Rated’ and therefore prohibited for those under the age of 17 in cinemas in the United States, a first for Marvel. The film will of course feature the excellent actress Scarlett Johansson.
