Adam Woodyatt for I'm A Celeb 2021
A source who spoke to The Sun said:
Adam was a big target for the casting team — he is a soap legend and is certain to be a huge hit with fans. But they knew they might have their work cut out because he has been quite reticent to do interviews or reality TV shows in recent years… So it’s a huge coup to have reached this point, and everyone is very excited about having him on the show. He’s a brilliant addition.More under this adMore under this ad
Adam is currently starring in the UK stage tour of Looking Good Dead which is set to run into next year. However there are no performances scheduled for November or December - which seems to free Adam up perfectly for a stint in Gwrych Castle before starting up again in January.

Last week it was reported that Richard Madeley had signed a £200,000 deal to appear on the show. Drag Race UK star Cheryl Hole and former BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin are among the other rumoured names.

Jake played Ian's frenemy Max Branning on EastEnders so it would be fascinating for fans to see how they get on in real life.
