Jacqueline Jossa Is Joining I’m A Celeb To Save Her Marriage

With I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 kicking off in less than two weeks on Sunday 17th November, one of the most exciting campmates set to enter the jungle this year is former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, who played Lauren Branning on the BBC soap from 2010 to 2018.

Whilst Jacqueline has a huge following online and has remained present in the gossip columns since leaving Albert Square, her journey into the jungle will mark her first foray into reality TV. According to an insider source, Jacqueline and her husband, Dan are hoping that the separation will ‘save’ their marriage – as it did when Dan went into the Celebrity Big Brother house last year.

A friend of the couple told The Sun that ‘Jacqueline was worried about signing up to the jungle but Dan told her to go for it. They actually think that being apart while she’s on the show will mean they’re closer than ever when she comes back to the UK – absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.’

It’s no secret that Jacqueline and Dan have had a rocky relationship over the course of their two-year marriage as the couple temporarily split whilst Jac was pregnant with second daughter Mia in 2018 following persistent rumours of Dan’s infidelity. The former TOWIE star – who left the show in disgrace after shocking audio of him verbally abusing his ex-partner emerged – was rumoured to have cheated on Jacqueline with Love Island’s Gabby Allen.

However, after Dan’s stint on Celebrity Big Brother and the birth of their youngest daughter Mia, Jacqueline and Dan have insisted that their relationship is stronger than ever, with Dan saying: ‘Being in the CBB house made me appreciate what we have and it made me realise how much I wanted things to work out between us.’
