James Haskell’s Wife Hits Back At ‘Bullying’ Claims And Reveals Real Reason For His Behaviour
More under this adAs ex-rugby player and I’m A Celeb campmate James Haskell suffers more and more online backlash for his behaviour on the reality show, his wife Chloe Madeley has spoken out to defend him. Pleading with fans to lay off him, Chloe offered an explanation for his on-screen actions.
At the start of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2019, James Haskell seemed like one of the most likeable campmates. Polite, chivalrous and caring, he quickly became one of the favourites to take the jungle crown. However, public opinion on him seems to have turned over the past couple of weeks following several spats with his fellow campmates.

Cracks first started to show when fans argued that James’ so-called ‘chivalrous’ behaviour was actually sexist. When the campmates had to put themselves in order for who would receive a roast dinner, James made sure all the women went before the men, shouting down Kate Garraway who tried to put herself lower down.
Since then, James has found himself at the centre of more and more arguments with his fellow campmates and has been accused of ‘bullying’ and ‘mansplaining’ by fans of the show. In an argument over the Dingo Dollar Challenge question, he got annoyed with Kate for wanting to think over her answer before voting, saying, ‘It irritates the p*** out of me because it’s that simple. Explain the question, answer the question A or B, it’s a circus of stupidity.’

His BMR(basic metebolic rate) is around 2500 cals his TDEE(Total daily energy expenditure) is around 4000 cals so to go down to 800 maybe 1200 with stars, is clearly taking its toll on him. I think people should remember this is a TV show orchestrated to get big reactions out of big characters, and maybe take it a tad less seriously.’
More under this adMore under this adWhilst Chloe is clearly standing by her man, it seems less and less likely that James will be the one to take the jungle crown this year, as fans are calling for him and Ian Wright to be booted out next. With less than one week to go until the grand final on Sunday night – how many more days will James be in the jungle?
