Demons that were always there
Like all great artists, Elvis Presley's life was tumultuous. Drugs and medications were combined with a fatty diet.
Quickly, the singer's health declined until he became obese and unrecognisable. He died at the age of 42 due to health problems and left America in mourning.
More under this adMore under this adAccording to Priscilla, the King never recovered from the loss of his mother with whom he was very close. The woman who shared part of her life with the artist says today:
‘Elvis was a thinker. He was a searcher. His mother had demons, his father had demons. We all have demons obviously; I don’t want to make it bigger than it is. They were a close family but there was always a little bit of sadness in them.’
