These are the I’m A Celeb 2021 cast’s biggest fears

While it can be an excellent career boost and a great money-spinner for the celebs who take part, I’m A Celeb is certainly no walk in the park. For the second year in a row, the show’s stars will be facing the chilly and spooky surroundings of Gwrych Castle in Wales as opposed to the Australian jungle. So what are they most afraid of?

Ahead of entering camp, Saturdays star Frankie Bridge revealed that the eating trials are what have got her most worried. She admitted:

I am a fussy eater and I have a bit of a phobia of ketchup, so a pint of penis terrifies me! Any of the eating challenges will be my idea of hell.

Emmerdale actor Danny Miller (aka Aaron Dingle) also admitted he was ‘dreading the eating trials’ as he’s worried about gagging.

Meanwhile, several of the campmates admitted they’ve got a fear of heights—which is unfortunate as one of the first trials appears to involve getting up on a platform at a dizzying height above a quarry. Snoochie Shy, Richard Madeley, Naughty Boy and Kadeena Cox all named heights as one of their top fears.

As a diver, Olympian Matty Lee probably won’t have too much of an issue with heights—but he revealed his biggest fear will be rats. He’s not the only one dreading the critters, Snoochie Shy is scared of bugs, while Louise Minchin said:

The idea of small, enclosed spaces with cockroaches and spiders is horrific!

No fear

Two of this series’ older campmates—Arlene Phillips and David Ginola—wisely kept schtum about their biggest fears, with Arlene saying simply:

I am hoping I will overcome my fears to take part in the Trials!

And David saying:

I am going to tell you when I am in the Castle!
