He may not have appeared onscreen but Declan Donnelly and new co-host Holly Willoughby made sure that Ant was still involved in the launch episode of I'm A Celeb 2018.

After a long wait, the 18th series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! launched on Sunday 18th November. For the first time in the show's history, Ant McPartlin wasn't in Australia alongside his presenting partner Dec. Instead, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby stepped in to co-host the show.

Not being there for the very first time must have been tough for Ant - especially as the launch show coincidentally took place on his 43rd birthday. He has reportedly jetted off on holiday with girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett in order to avoid press attention - but he still made sure to send a sweet message to Dec and Holly before the show started.
