Good news for those who hate showering. A group of experts have informed Time Magazine that you should actually only be washing twice a week - under no circumstances should you beshowering every day.

Hygienic reasons
Elaine Larson, a professor at Columbia University, recently said in a study conducted by Time Magazine:
I think showering is mostly for aesthetic reasons. People think they’re showering for hygiene or to be cleaner, but bacteriologically, that’s not the case.More under this adMore under this ad
In fact, she recommends showering only twice a week and no more! Dr C. Brandon Mitchell from George Washington University add:

Effects on the hydrolipid film
It’s important not to wash too often because when you do, the protective film on your skin doesn’t have enough time to regenerate and so daily showers strip the body of all their necessary, natural oils.
However, Dr Larson does recommend washing your genital areas, face and hands more frequently than the rest of the body, especially to avoid getting frequent infections.
