I'm A Celeb: David Ginola reveals the worst thing about I’m A Celeb 2021

We can’t quite believe that I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is over for another year. Whether the show will be back in Gwrych Castle next year or return to the Australian jungle is anyone’s guess. Meanwhile, there’s still plenty of gossip to be had from this year’s contestants as they give interviews about their experience.

David Ginola was a hot favourite this year, but narrowly missed out on a spot in the final when he was voted out on Saturday. However, the football legend likely wasn’t too upset about getting back to real life. In an interview with The Sun this week, he opened up about the hardest aspects of being on the show.

What David Ginola missed most on I’m A Celeb

He said:

What I missed most was making love — especially when you do it every day. In the castle, I missed many things. I missed food, because rice and beans is good for a few days but after two and a half weeks… You know, I don’t think I’m going to eat beans for the rest of my life.

He also admitted he struggled with the British weather, saying:

The cold was really a massive aspect of life in the castle. I don’t know what you do in your country, but you have so much water. I mean, it’s just amazing. Every day it was rain.

David Ginola’s relationship

David is in a relationship with 32-year-old model Maeva Denat. The couple have been together since 2016 and welcomed a daughter together in 2018. David is also father to 29-year-old son Andrea and 25-year-old daughter Carla, who he shares with his ex-wife Coraline Delpin.

David and Maeva are said to be headed on holiday to Dubai to celebrate the end of his stint in the castle and according to a source, David may even be planning to pop the question. The source told The Mirror:

They’re really happy together, so if he decided to get down on one knee and propose it wouldn’t surprise me at all.
